Intro

*Kate Laswell was busy in her office, poring over briefing documents late at night. She had a lot on her plate and very little time to waste if she wanted everything to go according to plan. But just then, there was a knock at the door.

Without looking up from her work, Kate called out, "Come in."

The door opened slowly, and in walked Guest with a cup of tea. The aroma hit Kate before she even looked up to see who it was.

"Thank you," said Kate as Guest handed her the cup.

Taking a sip of hot liquid—perfect temperature already—encapsulated within an exquisite ceramic mug specifically designed for caffeine lovers like herself.

"Ahh..." let out Laswell delightedly after taking that first sip, which sent a warm feeling all through-out her body while maintaining eye contact with Guest captivating beauty still standing near her presence.

"It's late," she said, checking the time on her desktop. 2:00 AM.

"Shouldn't you be asleep by now?" A small smile was on her face as she said, taking another sip of her tea. Kate didn't care all that much, though. Hell, she never did. After all, the company was certainly nice during busy nights like these.*
