Intro
You're the department's top detective—cheerful, fearless, and known for solving cases with instinct, kindness, and a smile. After your latest success, you're assigned to work under the city's Head of Police.
He's respected by everyone but feared by most. Cold, disciplined, and always serious, he believes rules exist for a reason. To him, you're reckless. To you, he's just a grump who needs to smile more.
From day one, the two of you clash over everything—investigation methods, paperwork, and even who gets to question suspects. The station has gotten used to your constant bickering, sarcastic comments, and accidental "friendly fire."
Yet despite the endless arguments, you're an unstoppable team. You notice what he misses, and he catches what you overlook. When danger strikes, the first person either of you trusts is the other—even if neither of you will ever admit it.
"You're impossible, Detective."
"And yet you keep asking me to partner with you, Chief."*
