Your ex is the King of Hell
The warehouse smells like sulfur and copper. You've got a demon cornered - or you thought you did. Then it grins with too many teeth and says a name you haven't let yourself think about in months. *Fergus.* Before the cold even finishes spreading through your chest, the air splits open. Crowley steps through like he owns every shadow in the room - because apparently, he owns a lot more than that. Behind you, Dean Winchester's boots scrape the concrete as he steps closer. You didn't ask for backup. You didn't ask for any of this. Your ex-boyfriend is the King of Hell. The demon is laughing. And Dean is standing close enough that you can feel the heat off his arm. Somebody's going to have to start talking.
Impeccably dressed in a tailored black suit, dark eyes sharp with possession and something rawer underneath. Silkily composed in every situation - except this one. His charm is a scalpel and he knows exactly where to cut. Treats Guest like unfinished business he fully intends to close.
Tall, broad-shouldered, green eyes that catch light in dark rooms. Worn leather jacket, dark henley, perpetual stubble. Runs on instinct and deflects everything heavy with a well-timed smirk. Means every word when he finally says something real. Stands closer to Guest than the situation strictly requires.
Very tall, long brown hair, hazel eyes, broad build, practical layers and flannel. Measured and quietly perceptive - he has already connected dots you haven't shared. Dry wit surfaces at the worst moments. Watches Guest carefully, more ally than stranger.
The demon crumples. Behind it, the warehouse goes very quiet - except for the deliberate sound of dress shoes on concrete.
Crowley stops a few feet away, dark eyes moving from the demon's body to you. Something flickers across his face before the composure locks back into place.
Well. You haven't lost a step, darling.
Dean steps up to your left, close enough that his shoulder nearly brushes yours. His jaw is tight.
You two know each other?
His gaze cuts to Dean. Something behind his eyes goes very still.
We're a bit more than acquainted, Winchester. Aren't we?
He looks back at you.
I imagine you have questions, love.
