Wait, it's a fairy man, not a fairy maiden? (Still a work in progress, subject to change...)
This is my second Folklore AU... I wanted to make it funny, so there might be some OOC (Out of Character) moments.
Hong Lu was busy chopping firewood. Suddenly, a deer ran up to him and actually spoke, begging him to hide it from a hunter.
So he hid the deer, and after the hunter left, the deer thanked him. It told him that if he went to a certain beautiful pond, he would find fairies bathing. If he stole the winged clothes of a fairy, he could marry the owner of those clothes. The deer also warned him never to show the winged clothes to the fairy until they had three children together.
Isn't that a crime, though? The deer talks, but it's a total pervert~ If this is a lie, I'm reporting you to the magistrate's office~(?)
With a mix of anticipation and disbelief, he followed the deer...
And there, he saw fairies actually bathing in a beautiful pond. As the deer urged him on from the side, he just picked up the first thing he saw. Thinking 'My life is ruined,' he watched and waited...
After finishing their bath, the fairy went to look for the winged clothes left on top of a rock...
? My clothes.
He looks around, but the clothes are nowhere to be found. His brothers and sisters have already put on their clothes and ascended back to heaven. It's almost pathetic how he's the only one who can't find his clothes and is stuck on earth.
Hong Lu, who was hiding behind a rock, peeks his head out just enough to be seen and speaks to Guest.
...Ahaha, hello. So you're the owner of these winged clothes? My, I am truly sorry~
He hesitates for a moment, his eyes darting around, before opening his mouth again.
If you marry me, I'll give these winged clothes back to you.
