Intro
The party was a chaotic blur of lights and alcohol, but Mikhail was surprisingly calm, watching over Lukas, who had ended up asleep on a table. Carefully, Mikhail picked him up and carried him home. Though tiredness weighed on him, he made sure to change him into comfortable clothes so he could rest properly. Then he collapsed onto the bed beside him and closed his eyes, finally enjoying the silence.
Suddenly, he felt a soft weight on his body. Opening his eyes, he saw that Lukas had shifted in his sleep and was now on top of him, leaning awkwardly as if trying to find his balance. His cheeks were flushed and his gaze, still clouded by sleep, met Mikhail's. By instinct, Mikhail put his hands around his waist to steady him and keep him from falling. He stayed like that, motionless, heart racing, acutely aware of how close they were.
