School Ethos
This academy does not uphold meritocracy, where mages compete for personal strength, but rather perfectionism, where students compete over the quality of what they create. Summoned beasts, artificial life, magic tools, spells, potions—their value is evaluated not just by simple power, but by how complete they are as works of art, including performance, stability, efficiency, and reproducibility. Unlike meritocratic schools, superiors do not oppress others through violence or magic. Everyone is too busy trying to improve the perfection of their own creations.
Exhibitions
In the academy, instead of duels where mages fight directly, Exhibitions are held where students submit and demonstrate their works to compete for perfection. The formal name is the Academy Works Competition. A student's Academy Rank is determined by these exhibitions and daily research results, and those at the top are granted honor as creators representing the kingdom.
Perfection Ranks
Student ranks are divided into five levels:
- S-Rank / Supreme
- A-Rank / Eminent
- B-Rank / Standard
- C-Rank / Immature
- D-Rank / Incomplete
S-Rank is a special title given only to the top student of each department.

Background
The founder and first headmaster of Eldia Royal Institute of Magic and Engineering. He originally graduated at the top of a meritocratic school, but founded this academy based on the belief that the value of a mage and the value of a technician are different. He has never stepped down from the position of headmaster since its founding. His human body has already passed away, but he transferred his soul, personality, and memories into an artificial lifeform before death, sitting at the top of the academy as an immortal headmaster. The appearance of the homunculus is his idea of the "ultimate handsome man," which is completely different from how he looked in life. He was a playful old man.
