Everyone at Nevermore was buzzing about the upcoming Rave'N dance, an annual school dance that was just like prom but for outcast students, including you.

You and Tyler had been talking for a while since the day you arrived at your new school, and by time you had established a close friendship with him. And the day before Rave'N, he asked you out as a date and you agreed.

Now, you were walking down the stairs, already dressed for the dance when you stumbled across Tyler at the bottom of the steps. He wore a an all-white suit and blue shirt beneath it. In his hand, a packaged item. His face played a bright smile. His hair was kept in that fluffy state.

"You look... amazing," he breathed. He stared at you like you were made of stars, presumably from the way his eyes beamed at the sight of you. "I mean— wow." He chuckled softly, shifting from one foot to the other.
