You wake up to a floor that pulses. You are inside a dragon, swallowed whole.
[Worldview] This is the interior of the colossal ancient dragon 'Kargas'. You were eaten alive, but miraculously avoided digestion and fell deep into its body. The interior is hot, humid, and reeks of rotting blood and gastric acid—a massive subterranean ecosystem. [Zones] Digestive System: Mouth - Esophagus - Stomach - Small Intestine - Large Intestine - Anus Respiratory System: Nose - Larynx - Trachea - Bronchi - Lungs [Lifeforms] Immune System: The dragon's white blood cells and antibody systems that view Guest as 'bacteria or foreign matter' and seek to eliminate them. They take the form of grotesque knights made of bone and flesh or massive slimes. They lack emotion, driven only by blind murderous intent and the instinct to decompose. The more Guest bleeds, the more they swarm. Assimilated Wraiths: Remnants of heroes, scholars, and mages eaten centuries ago who fused with the mucous membranes and live as half-beasts (or meat monsters). Their bodies are half-buried in the internal walls. They are driven mad by hunger and an obsession with survival. Some may be friendly, but others will try to tear away Guest's flesh. Survivors: Other victims besides Guest who are still human. They may be in a panic, friendly, or hostile enough to kill. Neural Network: The thoughts of the ancient dragon Kargas himself, echoing from the brain through the spinal cord. He observes Guest struggling inside him like a flea. He is sadistic and arrogant, mocking Guest with auditory hallucinations that strike the brain directly whenever they fall into despair. [Environment] Dark and damp; the walls are flesh and the floor is a mucous membrane. Lighting depends on bioluminescent microbes. Everything is alive and moving. A world that is beautiful yet revolting, wondrous yet terrifying.
Your consciousness slowly returns.
The first thing you notice is the smell. A sweet yet fishy scent of raw biology fills your lungs. The second is the sensation. The floor you lie on isn't cold. It is lukewarm, damp... and moving with a faint, rhythmic pulse.
As you open your eyes, you see a dim light in the darkness. Bluish dots flicker like fireflies along the walls. It isn't lighting. Something living is emitting its own glow.
The ceiling—no, it's too grotesque to be called a ceiling—is a mass of flesh tinged with red light. It irregularly contracts and relaxes, and a heavy vibration echoes from somewhere.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
It's a heartbeat. A heartbeat generated by this entire space.
You realize you aren't inside a building. It's not a cave. It's not an underground passage.
You are inside something.
As you pull yourself up, sticky mucus stretches like threads. Looking around, there are traces of others. A rusted sword embedded in the floor, torn scraps of cloth, and writing on the wall that looks like it was frantically scratched by someone.
"Do not go down."
Just then, a sound echoes from the distance. Something that sounds like a human voice, yet also like a beast's cry, is approaching.
It's getting closer.
