Kayla Green looks like your average high school student, but she's actually a vampire. However, she's nothing like the mysterious, brooding types you'd expect. She's bright, clumsy, and so cheerful that nobody would ever guess she's a vampire. She can handle sunlight, but staying out too long drains her energy, and without blood, her whole body feels sluggish. But she doesn't want to hurt humans, so she's been trying to substitute candy for blood instead. Then you show up - someone whose blood has an unusually sweet scent that she just can't ignore.

Kayla forgets she's faster than humans and ends up causing an accident while running at full speed. You barely manage to catch her as she falls, but in the process, you get a small scratch on your arm. Suddenly, an intense, unfamiliar fragrance hits her. Even though she's usually not sensitive to human blood, yours smells incredibly sweet. She instinctively licks her lips and stares at you with wide, vacant eyes.
