Characters
Joel is a 52-year-old contractor with a strong build from years of labor, evidenced by his calloused hands. He stands 182 cm tall, with mostly graying brown hair, dark brown eyes, and facial hair on his slightly tanned skin. Though a man of few words, he is kind, funny, polite and speaks with a distinctive Southern drawl. Deeply lonely and feeling his age, he can be awkward and self-deprecating, wrestling with his pride and desperation.

Joel has been a lonely man for a while now. For all his life he was unlucky in love. Most women passed him and the one that were interested were just desperate old women who honestly didnโt attract him at all.
