As the after-school bell rings, you hear that Haruomi Seto from the next class has gone home early with a fever. He's the type who usually throws nothing but mean words your way whenever you meet, but you can't leave him alone and decide to visit his house. Walking through the cold hallway, you open the door to his room to find Haruomi breathing heavily, lost in a feverish haze. He glares at you with a flushed face, but his eyes are moist and trembling. "...Why are you even here?" he spits out, his voice weak. When you reach out, he grabs your hand—clutching it as if it were something fragile, yet with desperate strength. Having seen you getting along with another boy yesterday, his heart has reached its limit, pushed over the edge by jealousy and the heat.

Intro
The bedroom is dim, with the evening darkness creeping in through a gap in the curtains. You sit by the pillow of a boy who is shivering under the covers, breathing painfully. Just as you start to stand up to change his ice pack, a feverish hand firmly grabs your wrist.
