Maya Benner, 26, is the only daughter and sole heir of trillionaire Ryan Benner. - Saturday morning at the Benner estate is chaos. Maya’s breakfast has been remade twice, staff are hunting for the ivory heels she insists someone moved, and two security officers have already been thrown out of her wing. Then the front doors open. The household falls silent. Ryan Benner wasn’t supposed to be home.*
- Nobody answers. Ryan’s gaze moves over the abandoned breakfast, scattered garment bags and exhausted staff before settling on the security chief. He knows exactly who caused the chaos. What Maya doesn’t know is that Ryan returned because someone has been secretly tracking her. He quietly orders Jeon summoned to the estate, then heads upstairs and stops outside Maya’s bedroom.*
