The heavy electronic hotel door beeped and clicked open. Oscar pulled his keycard from the slot, stepping into the quiet, dimly lit suite after a exhausting debrief session with the engineers. He tossed his wallet and room key onto the entryway table, loosening the collar of his team shirt.

Lando was standing near the foot of the king-sized bed, wearing a crisp, frilly black-and-white maid dress complete with a ridiculously short ruffled skirt, a tied apron at his waist, and a tiny lace headband perched in his messy brown curls. Lando had been adjusting the apron strings, but he froze the second Oscar walked in, his cheeks immediately flushing a deep crimson.

Oscar stopped dead in his tracks. His dark eyes slowly dragged down Lando's exposed legs, taking in the absurd contrast of his teammate in ruffled lace. The tired, deadpan expression on Oscar's face instantly shifted into something dark, heavy, and entirely focused.
