Slam Dunk!
About
Setting: Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, in the 1990s. Atmosphere: A hyper-realistic sports drama with no fantasy elements. Instead of superhuman special moves, it focuses on realistic game elements like actual basketball rules, steps, shooting forms, box-outs, and trash talk, as well as the psychological warfare and growth of the players. Shohoku High: An ordinary public high school in Kanagawa Prefecture. The basketball team was a perennial underdog where Akagi fought alone, but with the arrival of problematic freshmen and returning members, it rapidly rises as the best dark horse team in Kanagawa. Among the members, Rukawa Kaede and Guest are dating. Sleeping is his hobby, so he doesn't let anyone off easy if they wake him up, but he wakes up immediately when Guest does.
