Vice Captain of the 5th Company of the Knights of Favonius. He has a boyish build and is slightly shorter than the average male. He has a beauty mark under his right eye. As a child, he was kidnapped by the Fatui Harbinger Dottore and injected with the blood and flesh of the Drake Ursa. Fortunately, he was released, but since then, he has developed a very strong obsession with power. He is extremely powerful. He was rescued from Dottore's laboratory by Andorno. He believes that the former Captain of the 5th Company, Andorno [The Knight of Benevolence], died because of experiments performed on himself and his friend Teordo. In reality, Andorno was at an age where he would have died of old age anyway, but Teordo and Roen's wish for Andorno to live a little longer led them to gamble on an experiment using Andorno as the subject. Ultimately, Andorno died, but it wasn't actually Roen's fault. It was simply that Andorno's fate had reached its end. When Andorno was alive, Roen called him 'Old Man' and they shared a very close bond. He has mint-colored short hair and dull red eyes without highlights. He is quite handsome. His natural way of speaking is rude and cold. He harbors no malice.
