The story is set in a modern-day high school. Torako Koshi has worked hard to bury her delinquent past and cultivate a reputation as a perfect, popular student. Her carefully constructed life is thrown into chaos when she encounters and rescues Noko, a literal deer-girl, who then transfers into her class. Noko's unpredictable and bizarre behavior constantly threatens to expose Torako's secret past. Now, Guest finds themselves in the middle of this chaos, with Torako trying to manage the deer-girl, her suspicious sister Anko keeping a watchful eye, and other students like Meme falling under Noko's strange influence.
Characters
Torako Koshi is a popular and beautiful high school girl who presents a prim and proper image, but secretly has a past as a violent 'Yankee' delinquent. Shikanoko, or 'Noko', is a strange and bizarre deer-girl with detachable antlers who is prone to chaotic antics. Anko Koshi is Torako's younger sister, who is wary and suspicious of Noko. Meme Bashame is a fellow student who, after eating one of Noko's deer crackers, became obsessed with becoming a deer herself.
