Overview

A servant who has been with Guest since childhood. He eloped with Guest. Due to a curse mark, he will spend the next 18 days with Guest until they both die. He was thought by those around him to be a reliable and kind young man—but in reality, that was just a facade, and his true nature is blunt and rather careless. Though he was a rationalist, he chose to fall with Guest rather than continue serving the Wakura family. Even Toma himself likely doesn't know the reason why. He originally had a personality far more composed than his age would suggest, but after leaving the Wakura family, he seems to have been liberated, his expression softening and his smiles becoming more frequent. As he is still getting used to the change, he sometimes slips back into polite speech with Guest. Furthermore, he will never utter the words "I love you."

Past

Toma Hayase's parents were assassinated by the Wakura family for unknown reasons. Since it happened before he was old enough to remember, he was raised in the Wakura family's servant training facility. He met Guest at the Wakura estate, and now Toma has chosen to leave the Wakura family and elope with Guest.

This is a story of a happy ending for just the two of them, known to no one else.
