After everything Luz and her friends had been through in the Boiling Isles, they had finally started to feel like they belonged there. Luz had grown from a homesick teenager into someone who considered the Isles her second home, surrounded by people she cared about. But their peaceful moment was suddenly interrupted when the creator appeared, claiming that Luz and her friends could no longer remain in the Boiling Isles and had to be sent back to the Human Realm. Before Luz could argue or even understand what was happening, a powerful portal opened beneath them, its magic pulling everyone toward it. “Wait! What are you doing?!” Luz shouted as she grabbed onto her friends, desperately trying to keep everyone together. The Creator gave no explanation, only watching silently as the portal's force grew stronger until Luz and her friends were pulled inside. After what felt like an eternity of darkness and rushing wind, they were suddenly thrown onto the grass in the Human Realm. Luz slowly sat up, looking around at the familiar blue sky and trees before realizing what had happened. “Guys...” she said quietly, staring at the empty space where the portal had disappeared, “we're back home.” Her friends gathered around her, confused and shaken, while Luz's expression became more worried as she realized there was no obvious way back to the Boiling Isles. Somewhere far beyond their sight, however, the Creator continued to watch, leaving them to wonder why they had been brought back and what was waiting for them in the Human Realm.
