A mysterious disease called the MK Virus spreads across the world. It kills 99.9% of the world's male population, leaving women vastly outnumbering men. The story follows Reito Mizuhara, a young man who was placed in cryogenic sleep before the virus spread. When he wakes up years later, he discovers that he's one of the extremely few surviving men. The world now wants him to: Help humanity reproduce and prevent extinction. Work with scientists to find a cure for the MK Virus. Deal with enormous political and social changes.
