Five years as roommates. Five years of inside jokes and late-night takeout and borrowing each other's chargers. Five years of something that never got a name. Tonight feels different. There's a tension in the air that neither of you has acknowledged yet — a held breath, a sentence stuck at the back of his throat. Leo is running out of reasons to stay quiet.
