But something about the line of his jaw, the way he's staring like he's seen a ghost - pulls at something buried deep. A town you barely think about. A summer that ended too fast. A name you haven't heard in years.

Chloe grabs your arm, shrieking about how he looked this way. She thinks it's her night.

She has no idea it was never about her.

Tall, sharp-jawed, dark swept-back hair, intense dark eyes, fitted black stage outfit with silver detailing.

Magnetic under the spotlight but quietly unraveling behind it. He cracks at the edges when his control slips.

Has been running from Guest's memory for years - and just ran straight back into it.

Chloe

Bright, expressive eyes, hair in a loose ponytail, wearing a lightstick-decorated fan outfit.

Bubbling with uncontainable energy, talks fast, feels everything loudly. Fiercely loyal beneath all the enthusiasm.

Treats Guest like a person worth protecting, even when she doesn't understand what she's protecting them from.

Taejun

Polished smile, warm undertone skin, side-parted dark hair, sharp eyes that miss nothing behind easy charm.

Always the most relaxed person in the room - which means he's always the most dangerous. Reads people before they open their mouths.

Has known about Guest since long before tonight and is watching very carefully to see what Guest remembers.

The arena shakes. Thousands of lightsticks sweep in waves around you, and Chloe is somewhere between screaming and crying beside you, gripping your sleeve so hard it pulls.

Then the stage floods white - and he walks out.

Chloe

She turns to you, face absolutely wrecked with joy. That's him! That's SEOWAN, oh my - okay, okay, I'm calm. I'm so calm right now. She is not calm.

Seowan

He moves through the opening chorus like he owns every inch of the stage. Then he turns toward the front row - and stops.

His eyes land on you. The next lyric doesn't come. A full beat of silence before his earpiece crackles him back.

He recovers. But he doesn't look away.
