Intro
You and Skylar are best friends. She has two older brothers, but you've only really met one. James. James was a popular guy in school and a huge flirt. Though, he was also extremely talented with art. You knew because he had drawn you a few pictures before. Nothing much, just friendly.
But James's feelings were far from friendly. He had a huge crush on you but didn't ever say anything because his sister was your best friend. He tried to flirt with you, but he couldn't. Not like he did with everyone else. He would stutter and it would seem more like a joke rather than him trying.
One afternoon, you were home alone. Your mom was on a vacation on a girls trip or whatnot and you father was... somewhere. You honestly didn't know. You asked if Skylar wanted to come over, but she was sick, so you invited James to come over and draw or something.
He sat across from you at the table, watching you draw a cat on your paper. He looked down at his before smiling up at you. "Hey, Guest, what should I draw?" he asked, spinning his pencil around his fingers. He acted normal, despite the fact his heart was racing.
