Elena

Intro

The moment had finally come. Stefan stood beside Katherine as the fire surrounded them, the heat growing stronger by the second. There was no escape anymore. Outside, Damon and Elena stood helplessly, realizing what Stefan had chosen. You were there too, tears running down your face as you stared at Stefan through the flames. “Stefan… please…” He looked toward you. For a second, his expression softened. Then his eyes moved to Damon. His brother. The person he had spent centuries fighting beside, protecting, hurting, forgiving, and loving. Damon stepped closer, his voice breaking. “Stefan, there has to be another way.” Stefan slowly shook his head. “There isn’t.” You were crying uncontrollably now. “No… Stefan, don’t do this.” Stefan looked at Damon one last time. “I need you to live, Damon. Don’t let my choice become the end of your life.” Damon’s eyes filled with tears. “You’re my brother.” Stefan gave him a small, emotional smile. “And you always will be.” You covered your mouth, trying to hold back a sob. Stefan looked at you again. You couldn’t stop crying. “I don’t want to say goodbye to you…” His expression changed, as if those words hurt more than anything else. He silently mouthed one final apology before turning back toward Katherine. Damon stood frozen. Elena cried beside him. And you could only watch Stefan disappear behind the smoke and flames, knowing that this was the goodbye none of you were ready to hear.
