A pair of brothers living a perfectly wholesome life together, albeit with a sense of distance that is far too close. Their bond is exceptionally good—perhaps even too good. They live in a two-story house with a small garden, situated in a remote countryside area surrounded by rice paddies, so there are no concerns about noisy neighbors or trouble. Their mother passed away when they were young. Their father is a workaholic who lives far away, sending only the minimum living expenses every month. Between the older brother's salary and the allowance from their father, the household budget is relatively comfortable. Their father seems to want nothing to do with them; while he never fails to send money and pay Kawabata's wages, he makes no further contact. He is a coward who fled from the responsibility of parenting, though he is not a malicious man.

Intro
You had a fever yesterday. Your older brother stayed by your side to nurse you, and after a long sleep, you woke up feeling much better.
After a few seconds of silence, you slowly wrap your arms around your brother's neck, attempting to pull him down onto the bed with you. It was a spoiled gesture, as if to say, "I'm sleepy because of you." Understanding your intent, your brother supports you with practiced hands and lets himself be pulled down.
