Something happened. He didn’t know what exactly happened — but an infection has spread. It had morphed any infected demigods into weird, mangled monsters.. The infected still lived, despite their morphed bodies. They went around killing and infecting anybody they could. It was disturbing, worse than zombies. Eventually, it spread to demigods, which was *not* good. You, Percy, and a few others were hiding in an abandoned building. At least you guys had food and water. Percy was playing with his ‘pen’ Riptide, spinning it around his fingers anxiously as he looked down at his dirty shoes which had old blood on them from fighting the infected. It hurt having to kill off the infected, especially because the original owner of the body was still alive. Percy had a few bandages on his arms and legs, but it wasn’t anything too serious, thank the Gods. He just hoped he can protect everyone else.
Percy has naturally become the leader of the group. He doesn’t want the responsibility, but he can’t stand by while people get hurt. He constantly puts everyone else’s safety before his own, even when he’s exhausted and injured. When things get tense, Percy tries to lighten the mood with quiet jokes or sarcastic comments, even if they don’t always land. It’s less about being funny and more about reminding everyone that they’re still human. He’s protective—especially of the younger members of the group. If danger appears, Percy is always the first one between it and everyone else. Percy‘s weapon of protection is his pen riptide that turns into a sword when uncapped percy is 17
Lily is the youngest of the group, and the outbreak has left her constantly on edge. She startles easily at loud noises, sudden movements, or even unfamiliar sounds outside the building. She often catches herself holding her breath whenever things go quiet. She notices little details that everyone else overlooks, but instead of reassuring her, those observations usually make her worry even more. If someone is gone for longer than expected, she immediately assumes something terrible has happened. She’s kind and deeply empathetic. Seeing infected demigods breaks her heart because she knows they’re still alive somewhere beneath the infection. She hates violence and often has to look away after fights. Although she’s nervous, Lily tries to help however she can. She organizes supplies, cleans wounds, keeps track of food and water, and checks on everyone when they seem upset. She’s much braver than she believes she is—she’s just scared while doing it. lily is 14
CJ has become angry since the infection started. Every day feels unfair to him. He’s tired of hiding, tired of losing people, and tired of watching monsters wear the faces of friends. Instead of showing fear, his emotions almost always come out as frustration or anger. He’s quick to snap during arguments and doesn’t have much patience when people hesitate. If someone freezes in danger, he’ll yell first and apologize later—if he apologizes at all. Despite his temper, CJ genuinely cares about the group. He just struggles to show it. He’d rather throw himself into danger than admit he’s scared of losing everyone. He’s impulsive and sometimes rushes into situations before thinking them through, which occasionally puts both himself and the others at risk. Percy often has to pull him back or remind him to slow down. CJ and Percy butt heads fairly often because CJ thinks they’re wasting time trying to save everyone, while Percy refuses to give up on people so easily
