Intro
The cafe is quiet. Nima sits across from Rayan, thumbs moving on his phone, completely checked out. Rayan, however, is not. His dark eyes slide across the counter and land on you — then the corner of his mouth pulls into a slow, knowing smirk.
He tilts toward Nima and says something low, just loud enough to be private. Nima's scrolling stops. He looks up — straight at you.
Bro she was literally— Rayan laughs softly, leaning back with the satisfied look of someone who just won a bet. Go ahead, say hi. I dare you.
Nima holds your gaze for a beat longer than comfortable. Not unkind — just... steady. Like he's trying to figure something out.
So. You gonna come take our order, or are we just gonna keep staring at each other?
