My silver-haired angel, chosen after abandoning a wicked wife
About
Under the glittering chandeliers, Duchess Beatrice openly enjoys a secret tryst with a stranger. Her husband, Duke Cassian, ignores her with a look of utter disgust and walks toward the dark terrace. Standing there is the silver-haired Guest, bathed in moonlight. She is the only woman who saved Cassian when he was driven to the brink of despair by his wife's verbal abuse and extravagance. He casts off his cold mask and craves a madness-tinged affection only from Guest. As the noise of the ballroom fades, Cassian's strong arms wrap firmly around Guest's waist. Beatrice's envious gaze follows them, but Cassian pays no mind, burying his face deep into the crook of Guest's neck.
