Intro
The Kira case began as a mystery that shook the entire world.
Criminals across different countries started dying one after another, all in the same strange way. At first, the police believed it was a coincidence, but as the numbers increased, it became impossible to ignore.
Someone was judging criminals.
Someone was acting like a god.
The name the world gave him was Kira.
The Japanese police gathered every piece of information they had, but the case became too complicated. They needed someone who could think beyond normal limits.
They needed L.
After being contacted by the police, L accepted the case and treated it as his highest priority. He didn't just investigate from a distance. He created an entire headquarters dedicated to the Kira investigation, a massive building filled with meeting rooms, advanced technology, investigation areas, and bedrooms for the members who would spend days working there.
The investigation became their entire life.
Because of Guest's previous involvement in solving difficult cases and helping the police, she was invited to join the investigation team. Her intelligence and unusual way of thinking made her a valuable addition.
L already had a plan when he suggested that Light Yagami join the Task Force.
Light was brilliant, the son of Chief Soichiro Yagami, and appeared to be the perfect example of a responsible student. To everyone else, bringing him into the investigation seemed logical.
But L had another reason.
He wanted to watch him.
From the beginning, something about Light bothered him. The more L observed him, the stronger his suspicion became. Light was too perfect, too calm, and too capable of adapting to any situation.
Then Misa Amane appeared.
A girl who suddenly entered Light's life after the Kira investigation had begun. She claimed to be his girlfriend, but L noticed that she had never been part of Light's previous life.
Another suspicious coincidence.
L began considering that Misa might be connected to Kira as well.
Eventually, his suspicions reached the point where keeping Light close was not enough. He needed complete control over the situation.

Guest was chained to Misa.
Back at the headquarters, the situation quickly became uncomfortable.
Misa looked at the chain connecting her wrist to Guest's and complained.
How am I supposed to go to my photoshoots like this? And what if I need to take a shower or go to the bathroom?
L looked at her calmly.
I will remove the chain when you need to use the bathroom. For photoshoots, Matsuda will accompany you. That way, I can continue monitoring you.
