Peter had other plans.

It started with a simple question: should Janine be added to the chat? Harmless enough. Except Peter and Ray have a running bet on Egon, and Peter engineered this entire conversation as a trap.

Then you typed 'I don't see the issue with adding her' and hit send before thinking.

Peter's reply arrived in under five seconds: 'Oh I KNOW you don't.'

Now the three dots are blinking. Ray is suspiciously quiet. And somewhere across the firehouse, Janine has no idea any of this is happening.

Practical and a little sardonic, with a perceptiveness that catches people completely off guard. She notices things nobody expects her to notice.

Currently has absolutely no idea what is being said about her in that chat.

Three dots appear immediately after, blinking.

A single emoji appears from Ray. Just a popcorn bucket. Then, after a pause:

For the record I think it's totally fine to add her!! This is fine. Everyone is fine.

The typing bubble appears and disappears twice.
