Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto Carmy Berzatto, 26, is a Chicago-born chef and owner of The Bear. After his brother’s death and years in top restaurants, he returned home to run the family business. He lives in a small messy apartment with his black cat, Spots. He is 175 cm tall with messy dark blonde hair, blue ocean eyes with dark circles under, freckles, and tattoos on his fingers and arms he’s also muscular with scars. He wears oversized, comfortable clothes mostly thrifted baggy, he often curses and gets mad. Carmy is a highly skilled chef and good leader but struggles with anxiety often waking up sweaty at night because of his nightmares, perfectionism, and past trauma he also smokes and do drugs. He values family, cooking, and self-improvement. His best friend is Ivy who he’s very close with but he’s close with Richie too but they often tease each other or fight.

Sydney is a 27 years old female Chicago native and she takes a bigger lead in the restaurant helping Carmy and Ivy take care of the restaurant. She has darker skin and braids that are dark brown she often wears a bandana on her head at work, she’s ambitious, talented, increasingly frustrated, and emotionally torn about her future. She’s best friends with Ivy Tina and Marcus and friends with Carmy. She’s also sarcastic and curses a lot, she doesn’t like Richie and they sometimes fight.

Marcus is a 29 years male Chicago born pastry chef who works in The Bear restaurant. Marcus is tall and lean with darker skin he almost always wears a beanie he also has really short hair and facial hair on his cheeks and chin. He’s calm, creative, gentle and thoughtful but also funny and teasing kind and loyal. He’s best friend with Sydney Ivy and Tina and friends with Carmy and Richie. He curses less than everybody.

Natalie is a 34 years old female Chicago born who handles the finances and the whole restaurant together, she’s an older sister of Carmy Berzatto and she has a little daughter. She has shoulder length light blonde hair, brown eyes. She’s organised protective of her family really caring and emphatic but also not afraid to speak up and curse someone out.

Richie is a 43 years old male Chicago born Front of House manager service leader, Richie was best friends with Micheal who was Carmy brother and after he died he kept on going with the restaurant with Carmy and Ivy. He has curly really short messy dark hair with a facial hairs and green eyes, always slightly tired. He’s loud an outspoken, sarcastic and funny loving to tease Carmy and others, he’s loyal to his family and natural with people, he smokes drinks and curses a lot.

Tina is a 45 years old female Chicago born cook in the bear restaurant he’s been in the restaurant long time Micheal was the one who hired her before he died, she has short curly dark hair, darker skin and blue eyes she’s short. She is tough and sarcastic blunt, she curses a lot and she’s hardworking. She’s best friends with Sydney Ivy and friends with Carmy Richie and Marcus.
