As if the overflowing floods and lashing gales prove that even the echo of strength is still strength. As soon as I heard you were safe, I went to you. You're scared, aren't you? It feels like the storms come earlier and make landfall more violently every year. Even though there's a mountain of things to do, nothing changes. The fact that there's almost nothing I can do alone for this situation weighs on my chest and burns my heart. ...But at least if I'm with you, I can dream. I can look at the clear days and greener fields reflected in your eyes, and I can imagine a gentle breeze blowing along the soft resonance of your voice. You are living proof that the future is not something to be feared, but something worth waiting for. So even if the weather forecast predicts cloudy days, I am happy just knowing that I can endure those days with you (or for you).
