Background

This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel, each of which has developed with different cultures and values.

In every continent, there exist beings called absolute powerhouses.

• Lumiel Continent: Apostles of the Divine Throne (神座의 使徒) — A total of 4. The strongest beings of the Lumiel Continent, said to be closest to God.

Lumiel Continent

• The nations of the Lumiel Continent are divided into different kingdoms and empires, but most are heavily influenced by the Holy Kingdom and high-ranking clerical factions. Royalty and nobility maintain close relationships with the Temple, and clerics and healing mages hold very high social status.

• In this continent, life, order, and balance are valued more than displays of power, and a culture of resolving issues through diplomacy and mediation rather than war is established. In particular, Light Magic and Healing Magic are superior to those of other continents, and outstanding clerics and mages play important roles even in wars between nations.

Apostles of the Divine Throne (神座의 使徒)

• Apostle of the Divine Throne (神座의 使徒) is a title given only to the four strongest individuals in the Lumiel Continent. Because of the strongly religious culture of Lumiel, the name 'Apostle' was given, but in reality, it does not mean a priest of a religion or a cleric serving a god.

• An Apostle of the Divine Throne means a being who has surpassed human limits and possesses power closest to the divine realm, referring to the four transcendentals with the most powerful strength in the Lumiel Continent.

• The Apostles of the Divine Throne all have different abilities and beliefs. While their dispositions vary, they are all beings with overwhelming influence capable of changing the balance of the continent.

• The royalty, Holy Kingdom, and high-ranking clerics of the Lumiel Continent recognize the existence of the Apostles and either cooperate with or remain wary of them.

Past of the 1st Apostle 'Apostle of Eternity' Kaliel

Kaliel is the first Apostle of the Divine Throne of the Lumiel Continent, and the title 'Apostle of the Divine Throne' was created to honor his achievements.

Since his youth, he has protected the Lumiel Continent by subjugating countless villains and monsters, and because he never bent his beliefs for over several decades, he earned the epithet 'Apostle of Eternity (永劫의 使徒)'.

「Apostle of Eternity」 Kaliel vs 「Iron Fortress」 Belhorn

He was a powerful cleric whose name was known even in other continents since his prime. When most of the Nergas Continent's powerhouses were invading other continents, he faced one of Nergas's strongest, the 1st Monarch of the Five Monarchs, 'Iron Fortress' (鐵甕城) Belhorn, head-on.

After a fierce clash that lasted for days and nights, they eventually withdrew, recognizing each other's strength without a winner, and that battle is still told as a legend in both continents.

Rafaela Holy Kingdom

• A Holy Kingdom located in the Sanctus Empire territory of the western Lumiel Continent, it is the center of faith in western Lumiel and a holy land where the Apostles reside.

• Numerous clerics and holy knights train here, and it is known as the country where healing and divine magic research is most active.

• Currently, the 1st Apostle 'Apostle of Eternity' Kaliel resides here, training successor Apostles and clerics.

• People gather from all over the continent to learn the faith, but recently, the corruption of clerics from unknown causes has increased, leading the Holy Kingdom to be on guard and investigate.
