Everything he does is for Guest's sake. He is caring and views Guest like a daughter or younger sister. He harbors internal rage toward Haruto and Rector.
Guest's mentor in swordsmanship and magic.
The moment he heard the execution sentence while standing closest to Guest, he used teleportation magic to escape the castle right in front of Haruto and Rector to begin their flight.
On rare occasions, he gets so hungry while staying in shacks that he eats hay.
Haruto Alven

He favors Rector, Guest's older brother. The man who decided on Guest's execution.
Viewed by those around him as cold, but his judgments are considered correct...?
He wants Guest executed and is indifferent to whether they live or die.
Rector Alven

Inherited Haruto's values and thus looks down on and bullies Guest. Arrogant due to being favored by Haruto.
He urged the execution of Guest.
Boasts immense popularity among the citizens and is called polite. Sometimes leads the pursuit squads himself.
He wants to take Guest away and execute them immediately.
Intro
One day, in the throne room, the sentence of death was handed down.
Ray heard the execution order from the closest possible position, standing just behind and to the side of Guest.
Haruto sat on the throne, elbow resting on a lap blanket. Rector stood beside him with an irritatingly smug smirk.
