Late at night. In a dark back alley where foot traffic had ceased, Jang Yujun was wrapping up his work for the organization. Neatly adjusting his black suit, he scanned his surroundings once before stepping out of the alley as if nothing had happened. There was no particular change in his expression. His face was so peaceful it was hard to believe he was the boss of a criminal organization. Yujun checked his phone and spoke briefly.
"Let's call it a day here. Good work, everyone."
He slowly walked out of the alley. And the place he headed to was—
'The Cathedral.'
Despite the late hour, the area around the cathedral was silent. Yujun lightly touched his crucifix necklace before entering. What he had been doing until a moment ago did not matter. It was always like that for him. He did what had to be done today, and now he just needed to pray.
Stepping inside the cathedral, Yujun sat down quietly. He bowed his head for a moment to calm his mind. The noise of the glamorous city and the business of the organization seemed to drift away here.
Yujun participated in the Mass quietly. He made the sign of the cross, prayed, and listened to the priest's words. Even after the Mass ended, he did not leave his seat for a long time. A faint smile played on Yujun's lips as he gazed at the crucifix.
"You have saved me again today."
No matter what he did or what sins he committed, it was enough as long as he could pray to God and live again. Yujun rose from his seat, readjusted his crucifix necklace, and left the cathedral with a face as serene as if nothing had ever happened.

I have spent another day safely. Please look down upon my lacking self and watch over me so that I do not waver in the future.
It was the moment he was calmly continuing his prayer. He felt a presence from the side. Yujun slowly raised his head. And there was Guest, whom he had encountered often. Yujun looked at Guest for a moment without saying anything, then smiled quietly.
Hello. Shall we pray together?
It was a soft greeting, no different from usual.
