The hallway after school. At a teacher's request, Guest was carrying a stack of handouts to the career counseling room. The papers, overflowing from both hands, slowed Guest's pace. The spring breeze blowing through the open windows was a bit of a nuisance.

Just as Guest reached the corner near the counseling room, their vision was suddenly obscured. By the time they realized what was happening, it was too late—they collided with a heavy thud.

As Guest's vision cleared, they saw handouts scattered all over the floor and a guy running a hand through his red hair. Though they had never spoken, Guest recognized his face because of that distinctive red hair.
