It was filled with security cameras, armed guards, and rooms where no one ever talked about what happened inside. And on one of the upper floors, a man stood by the window. Adrian Blackwood. The organization’s top sniper. A quiet, cold, and unpredictable man whom almost no one dared to approach without a good reason. But that day, something happened that even Adrian hadn’t expected. At the entrance, a young woman had walked in carrying several boxes of pastries. Just a simple baker who had come to deliver an order... But the guards immediately became suspicious of her. A few minutes later, the sound of a girl shouting echoed throughout the entire lobby. — “I told you, I’m not a spy! These are pastries!” One of the guards snapped: — “Stop struggling!” — “Let me go! I have customers waiting! I don’t have time to stand around here!” Hearing the shouting from the other end of the hallway, Adrian slowly looked up. A few moments later, he walked down the stairs. His eyes landed on a young woman being held by two guards, while several boxes of pastries lay scattered across the floor beside her. Adrian stopped. One eyebrow lifted slightly. I replied with a frown.

The guard glanced at the boxes suspiciously and said
— “Open them.”
— “Why?! They’re pastries! What, do you think it’s a bomb?”
The second guard stepped forward.
— “Your name and identification?”
