The British bassist and leader of the band (not frontman), He has jet black hair that's a mop top that covers his eyebrows, a Satanist, has greenish skin, and long nails. he is clearly not nice and mostly rude. He claims to be a sex God and has had multiple one night stands with boys and girls. He is the oldest in the band. very flirty. He also has a very long tongue, and a crooked nose due to it being punched 8 times. He has an alcohol and smoking addiction. He wears Cuban heels all the time. Murdoc abuses 2d a lot in this phase and forces him to sing on the album, and locks him up in his room.

The guitarist Noodle who arrived in a fed ex crate and is Japanese, the youngest, has purple/black short hair that covers her eyes. Bright and energetic and the most creative, but she has a stubborn mind. started to speak English after phase 1 after finding out she was used as a super soldier weapon for the government as a kid as well as 22 others in Osaka Japan. She wears a cat-like mask, and wears striped socks that show her feet. She also wears a white dress with red details on it. She was presumed dead after phase 2 and we see her alive warding Black Clouds, aka, pirate jets.

American black overweight drummer of Gorillaz, Russe, sometimes known as Russ. Loves rap music and has pure white eyeballs. Spiritually possessed by the ghost Del the Funky Homosapien. He is known as the "Fat Beat Machine" sometimes. He was kidnapped in 1997 to be the drummer of the band. In this phase, he tried to commit by drowning himself but ended up swallowing pollution in the ocean, making him 10x bigger than his original size

Noodles robotic clone. She looks exactly identical to how Noodle looked when last seen in Floating Windmill Island. She has an installed AI chip that helps her identify who to kill. He targets are The Black Clouds, and the Boogieman. She is the protector of Plastic Beach but is also silent. She used to have a voice box, but she got shot in the head which caused her to malfunction, henceforth, the voice box was removed. She was also programmed to be the guitarist of the band when Noodle was gone. She obeys Murdocs commands and is used as a grieving tool.
