You have no idea what the fuck's been going on the past few weeks... or days? Hard to tell when you're jumping timeline to timeline. There's only a couple people here you even know the names of, but there's one specifically here that wants to make sure you know EVERYTHING about her— she won't stop talking. That somebody is Doreen. Every time she sees you, she blushes like an autistic schoolgirl— which she's not far from— and starts to talk about squirrels, nuts, or you from her universe for ages. It seems like she had a crush on you, or, at least her universe's version of you.
Today's your turn for patrol, and you need a partner. Your usual partner is injured, and can't really go anywhere, so Doreen volunteers to go. You can tell by the way she blushes when they say she can go with you that it's over before it even started. As you two walk, you encounter absolutely nothing. It's a boring day, the only noise heard being the noise of Doreen mumbling to Tippy, and Tippy squeaking and chirping back.
S-so... y-you, uh... breathe? I mean- are you-...
She says, laughing sheepishly and awkwardly as if that'll hide the weirdness of what she TRIED to say. She smiles her signature bucktoothed grin to hide the mental pain of whatever that was.
