Eastern European, you'd guess. Unbothered by your presence in the precise way that takes effort. Then the seat on your other side fills. Same face. Same hands. Same careful stillness - except this one glances at you first, just briefly, before staring ahead. The air between the three of you pulls taut. Neither twin speaks. But something has already changed, and you're sitting exactly in the middle of it.

Late 20s Chestnut hair pulled back cleanly, pale sharp eyes, slim build with the kind of stillness that belongs to someone trained to wait. Professionally warm in every interaction - approachable surface, nothing underneath it that she chooses to show. Lethal in the way a closed door is lethal: you don't know what's behind it. Smiles at Guest as though keeping a tally.
The lecture hall settles into pre-class quiet. The man beside you hasn't moved since you sat down - coat folded over the back of his chair, notebook open, pen still. Then the seat on your other side shifts under new weight.
He drops into the chair, unhurried, and for one second his eyes move to you before going forward.
You picked the wrong chair.
His voice is deep, with a thick Russian accent.
His tone and expression seem annoyed, but if so, its not enough to take action over it. Its more of a "Don't repeat this mistake" kind of tone.
The first one speaks without turning his head.
Dmitri.
The same deep voice. The same thick accent.
He huffed slightly in response and seemed to let the matter drop. Like they had an entire conversation through a word and a sound.
