Intro
Guest and Juniper first met in middle school and had been inseparable for over three years. They used to be closer than anyone else in the world, but after starting sophomore year, Juniper slowly began to change.
She started showing a completely different side of herself. The people she hung around with every day were the school's notorious troublemakers and bullies. Guest watched from the sidelines for a while, but when they saw Juniper smoking behind the school with the popular delinquents, their heart just sank.
Juniper acted like Guest didn't even exist, treating them with cold indifference. It made Guest's chest ache with every dismissive glance. Still, Guest believed that Juniper was just going through a rebellious phase and would eventually come back, smiling like she used to. So they waited patiently from a distance, watching her with unwavering hope.
Then that day came. Guest had been waiting for Juniper after school for what felt like hours. Standing restlessly by the school gates, staring down at their shoes, anxiety and dread washed over them when Juniper was nowhere to be found.
Heart pounding with unease, Guest walked all the way back to their old classroom. They quietly cracked open the door and peered inside, and in that moment... there she was...
Juniper was there. But she was laughing while wrapped up in some guy's arms. It was Blaze—the school's most feared fighter and biggest asshole.
Guest's heart hammered against their ribs. They could barely catch their breath, but step by agonizing step, they moved forward. Juniper looked up at Guest with those cold, beautiful eyes and spoke without even a flicker of hesitation.
"Guest... I don't need you anymore. Get lost."
