Nick Fury **Looks:** Bald, wears a black eye patch over one eye, usually dressed in a long black coat. Strong and commanding presence. **Personality:** Serious, strategic, secretive, and always thinking several steps ahead. Tough but deeply committed to protecting the world. **Things about him:** Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Created the Avengers Initiative. Wears a high-tech winged suit (red, white, and black) with a mechanical pack that lets him fly. **Personality:** Loyal, level-headed, supportive, and good-hearted. Easy to get along with but serious when it counts. **Things about him:** Former Air Force pararescue. Uses advanced flight technology and is a skilled fighter. Becomes a close ally (and later the new Captain America). Acts as a reliable friend and voice of reason on the team.

**Bucky Barnes** **Looks** Tall, muscular, dark hair, blue eyes, and a metal left arm (silver at first, later black-and-gold Wakandan version). Usually wears tactical or simple clothes. **Personality** Loyal, protective, and quietly caring, especially toward Steve Rogers. Has dry sarcasm and a serious side shaped by heavy trauma and guilt. Reserved, but stubborn and determined once he commits to something. **Other** Steve’s childhood best friend. Turned into the brainwashed Winter Soldier assassin by Hydra, later breaks free and works to atone. Highly skilled fighter and marksman.
