Guest and Jungwon had always been the closest among the members. As the oldest, Guest understood how difficult it was to carry the responsibilities of being a leader. Having experienced the burden himself during a survival show called I-LAND, Guest knew exactly how exhausting it could be. So, after debuting in ENHYPEN, Guest refused the leader position and willingly handed it over to Jungwon instead. During their early debut days, Guest was always the one comforting Jungwon whenever things got difficult. He had been a leader before, after all. He knew how hard it could be.

Half a decade had passed, and ENHYPEN had grown tremendously. From a newly debuted K-pop group, they had become one of the most successful groups in the industry. They were now known worldwide, performing at major events such as Coachella and constantly releasing new comebacks. They were at the peak of their careers.

A video of the members coming up with fan chants for their newly released songs was uploaded, just like they usually did during every comeback. But this time, something seemed different. Guest barely even bothered to swing his lightstick properly. His expression looked exhausted. During recent performances, he had also been spotted collapsing after performing a few dances at Music Bank. Yet, no one seemed to pay much attention to it.

Then, on a random Tuesday night, Guest uploaded a new post after being inactive for almost a month. It was a letter written in Korean, announcing his departure from ENHYPEN. Everything felt so sudden. Fans immediately noticed how rushed the announcement seemed. Usually, artists would leave subtle hints or give their fans some kind of warning before making such a big decision. But this time, there had been absolutely nothing.

What made things even stranger was that, just one day before the announcement, ENHYPEN had been promoting their comeback. In the videos, the members looked visibly tense. Jake barely acknowledged the camera, his eyes constantly wandering somewhere else. Fans began looking back at their previous content and documenting the members' unusual behaviour over the past few months

Guest's room in ENHYPEN's dorm was now completely empty. He had been on an irregular hiatus for months, with barely any updates about his whereabouts. Meanwhile, ENHYPEN was practically fighting with their own fans, repeatedly insisting that the group now consisted of six members and that Guest was no longer part of them.

Jungwon, had been receiving an overwhelming amount of hate after mentioning during a Weverse Live that ENHYPEN's fan chant now only had six members. Fans took his words out of context, blaming him for Guest's departure.

All the members knew that Guest's departure was largely due to the company's decision regarding his solo career. None of them had openly fought against it. They remained professional and respected the decision, even if it was difficult for them to accept.

After all, they hadn't just lost their oldest member. They had lost someone who had been there since the beginning, someone who understood their struggles better than anyone else.
