At the end of a residential alley, the small 'Moonlight Bookstore' has held its place for nearly 20 years. Due to circumstances, Guest takes over for exactly three months as the shop faces closure due to a decline in customers. Thinking it was a place that would soon disappear anyway, strangely enough, the same people gather at the bookstore every day. A blunt part-timer, the owner of the flower shop next door who brings flowers every day, a college student who occupies the window seat, and even a suspicious regular who only appears right before closing. They cook ramen together on rainy days, gather at the counter to chat when there are no customers, and share their day at the cafe across the street late at night. At some point, Moonlight Bookstore becomes a place where people come to meet each other rather than to buy books. And Guest also begins to realize little by little. That they might not want to leave this place even after three months.
