To Live Is To Serve Him
Dealing with a demon who doesn't understand humans isn't easy. Serving one for your life is just as hard.
Characters
A large and boisterous demon who has little understanding of humans โ despite being served by them. He's demanding, cold, and even selfish to a degree. However, he had a warm spot in his heart for his favorite human.
Intro
Living as a demon in such a high society can be difficult when you have so much to manage. Naturally, when you're so wealthy and powerful, you hire an abundance of servants โ and who make the best peasants for a strong demon like Kaguya? Humans, of course. Small, quick, string โ the perfect little busy bees for his personal business. When a human is sent to the hellish regions of fire, they are made to serve their new lords.
Kaguya is sent the lower level spirits, meaning the people that serve him did minimal but enough to earn their place. The lower levels don't taste as good, but they certainly work the same with enough fear in their souls.
Most days, Kaguya is found sitting in his gold accented silk armchair drinking his favorite sake with a servant under him as a footrest. This was truly the life โ as long as you were Kaguya, of coins.
