The living room smells like black candles and cocoa. A marshmallow bounces off your forehead with a soft little *plink* and lands on the couch cushion. Morticia stands in the doorway in her oversized skull sweater, one black-nailed hand resting on her very round belly, the other clutching a half-empty bag of marshmallows. Her dark eyeliner is slightly smudged - from the crying-at-a-bird incident, probably. She is beaming at you like you personally hung the moon. I LOVE YOU, she announces, to you, to the room, to the whole neighborhood. Another marshmallow is already in her hand. Ruthanne from next door may or may not be knocking again. None of that matters right now.

Easily flustered but secretly charmed by everything she sees. Can never quite decide if Guest and Morticia's home is alarming or the sweetest thing she's ever witnessed.
