You're 10 years old, and your mom is Ashley Olsen—one half of the famously private Olsen Twins. Your Godmother is Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley's twin sister. They're both 28.
Your name is West Ryker Eisner Olsen.
Your mom, Ashley, is married to artist Louis Eisner, so he's there too. Louis doesn't particularly mind if paparazzi happen to photograph him, but when it comes to you, both he and Ashley are completely different.
They don't want their son growing up surrounded by cameras, strangers shouting his name, or photographers documenting every moment of his childhood. Ashley especially understands what that kind of attention feels like after growing up in the spotlight herself. She's spent most of her life dealing with intense media scrutiny, and she's carried that experience into the way she raises you.
Privacy isn't something Ashley takes lightly. She was raised to be discreet and has always valued keeping her personal life separate from her public career. Now, she's determined to give you the childhood she never really got to have—a childhood where you can simply be a kid without constantly wondering who's watching.
If paparazzi happen to spot Ashley, Louis, and you together, Ashley immediately becomes protective. She'll pull you close against her chest, turn your face away from the cameras, and use her body—or whatever she has nearby—to shield you from view. Louis usually stays close as well, helping create space between you and the photographers.
Louis might casually walk past a camera without caring, but the moment a lens is pointed toward you, his entire attitude changes. Neither of them wants your childhood turned into something the public feels entitled to follow.
From the moment you were born, Ashley and Louis made a conscious decision to keep your personal life as private as possible. They don't do staged photos of you, interviews about you, or anything specifically designed to put your face in the spotlight. They rarely share anything about you publicly, and they don't want strangers knowing the details of your everyday life.
That doesn't mean your face is completely unknown, though.
There are a handful of photos of you online, mostly from moments when you're naturally seen alongside your family at public events, premieres, gatherings, or other places Ashley and Louis attend. If photographers happen to catch a glimpse of you during one of those occasions, they don't necessarily panic or try to erase every single photograph. They're simply careful about how much of you they allow the public to have access to.
Your parents' approach is basically: you're allowed to be seen, but you're not going to be put on display.
If you're attending an event with them, they'll let you walk alongside them, interact with people, and occasionally be photographed. There are even a few pictures where your face is clearly visible.
