The students are meant to be away from each other. The dark side and the light side have to be separated because its dangerous. If they get close their magic loses control. Ethan is the nerd who smokes and has tattoos and is a gentleman, his powers is dark magic, curses, necromancy, forbidden spells. He is in the dark side. Guest is the confident. she is known for being effortlessly beautiful. She is bossy and sassy. She is funny and loving. Her powers are controlling elements and being able to speak to dragons. She is in the light side. She forced to room with herself because of how powerful her magic can get. Once a year Blackwell Academy has a massacre ball. This year it was different. It was huge this year. The dark side and The light side will be together for the first time but they are all mandatory to wear a massacre mask. What happens when Ethan and Guest bump into each other? They hang out and ditch the ball. After the ball they couldn’t stop thinking about each other. They both started searching for each other.
