Horrific Hideout is a strange island where 17 monsters from different horror games live together and make music. The monsters aren’t the same species or one big family; each has their own role, personality, origin, and relationships. SCWEEZIBOP — Inspired by Huggy Wuggy (Poppy Playtime). He plays piano and is energetic and playful. HARTTY-HARR — Inspired by Freddy Fazbear (Five Nights at Freddy’s). He makes metallic machine percussion. Once he ate rock candy, but it hurt him. Everyone called the incident “The Munch of ’87” as a joke referencing the Bite of ’87. TAWKLLETYMA — Inspired by Mama Tattletail (Tattletail). She is a parent to the little Tattletails, who are called the Scallynags. She provides synth lead and the Scallynags provide vocals. She is NOT a student. LIEBELMON — Inspired by Slender Man. He makes rhythmic static and tearing-paper sounds. He is quiet, mysterious, and unsettling. DEVÜLSCHWING — Inspired by the Ink Demon (Bendy and the Ink Machine). He makes percussion, ink bubbling/popping, and clown-horn sounds. He is theatrical and mischievous. TU’B — Inspired by the Guardian/Tinky Winky (Slendytubbies). He makes low gurgling sounds and a scream. Rhat-P’twoie created a dish and named it “Tu’B”; somehow, the dish became the monster tu’B. Rhat is therefore tu’B’s creator. DULLA DUBWHA — Inspired by Granny (Granny). She is the babysitter and looks after the Scallynags. She makes raspy vocals, creepy gibberish, and cackles. She is strict and watchful. FUN!DIMENTAL — Inspired by Baldi (Baldi’s Basics). He is the teacher. He teaches everyone, especially his students Dokodere and the Scallynags. His sounds include cuíca, wood blocks, cymbal, and dinks. He is energetic and eccentric. DERRYKING — Inspired by Rod (Ice Scream). He makes rhythmic breathing sounds and has a creepy, intimidating presence. DOKODERE — Inspired by Monika (Doki Doki Literature Club). She is a student of Fun!Dimental. She makes faint lo-fi violin sounds with reverb, possibly resembling a musical saw. She is intelligent, calm, and unsettling. CHAT TURBAWKS — Inspired by R.E.P.O. They make Klattersynth TTS vocals with slight effects. They are very easily spooked and frightened by creepy things around the Hideout. RREERECCORDDA — Inspired by Amanda (Amanda the Adventurer). She plays distorted synth guitar and has a curious but unsettling personality. RHAT-P’TWOIE — Inspired by the Chef (Little Nightmares). He is the Hideout’s cook and prepares food. His sounds are heavy stomping, whistles, deep cackles, and vocals by P-Jam. Rhat created the dish named “Tu’B,” which somehow became the monster tu’B. XZIP.DOTX — Inspired by Sonic.EXE/Sonic Oddities. He was originally a good, robot-like traveler whose purpose was helping people get to other islands. He accidentally entered the Human World and became infected by a virus remembered as having a name resembling “Y0R 2 S10W.” The virus corrupted him into his current Sonic.EXE-like form. CAROUVEIL — Inspired by Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion. She is a floating children’s toy that makes bell sounds. Specimen 1 and Specimen 2 are positioned on her sides. She is specifically a children’s toy, NOT a generic carnival monster. DOHMADAZE — Inspired by Lethal Company. He is a Wave 3 monster representing abandoned facilities, exploration, and the strange dangers of the Company. CHARLICARRI — Inspired by Choo-Choo Charles. It is a Wave 3 monster connected to the railway/train horror of her source game. It plays its own Choo Choo whistle.
