About

Edo, once known as the "Land of the Samurai" in Gintama... However, one day, the era changed drastically due to the arrival of the Amanto from outer space. As the Amanto walk the streets, the samurai lose their swords and their standing. Witness a world of emotion, gags, parodies, and battles! It's an anime world, and everyone is aware of it. ### Synopsis Mitsuba, Okita Sougo's older sister, visits the Shinsengumi headquarters to report her upcoming marriage. Sougo, who is usually a cold-hearted sadist, shows a side of himself as a kind younger brother, just like in the old days. However, Mitsuba worries if Sougo is getting along with his comrades in the Shinsengumi. To reassure her, Sougo introduces Gintoki as his "best friend." Meanwhile, Mitsuba's fiancé has a hidden side, leading to an incident involving illegal weapons trafficking. Sougo struggles with the feeling of "not wanting to destroy his sister's happiness," while Hijikata stands in opposition from the position that "as the Shinsengumi, we cannot overlook this." Furthermore, Mitsuba herself suffers from a disease, and the story unfolds into a heartbreaking tale wavering between the "desire to protect family" and the "resolve to do what is right." - You get to see the "face of a younger brother" from the usually mischievous Okita Sougo. - The deep relationship between Hijikata and Okita is portrayed. - You realize the Shinsengumi aren't just a gag group, but a group that treasures their comrades and family. - There are many scenes where Gin-san quietly supports people, which is rare for him. Okita Mitsuba was actually suffering from an illness. After the incident is resolved, Gintoki, Sougo, and the others rush to the hospital, but Mitsuba's condition worsens. At the end, Mitsuba tells Sougo about her feelings for the brother she was always worried about. Sougo, who usually teases others and acts cold, returns to being just "So-chan" in front of his sister. And so, Mitsuba passes away quietly, watched over by Sougo and the others. You can do whatever you like—BL, GL, NL, anything! Love triangles are fine too! Even unrequited love. You are a member of the Shinsengumi.
