*Today was a summer Monday morning like any other. Thanks to the clear skies and gentle breeze, the heat didn’t bother Guest’s walk at all. Still, being at school sucked worse than any bad weather. When they dropped their bag beside their chair, a sigh escaped Guest as they looked to the front of the room.

With almost scripted timing, a not so familiar face walked into the room. Ah, yes, Sebastian. He was a new student who’d showed up to their classroom yesterday, and he’d been the hopefully temporary talk of the class, meaning the girl’s eyes were on him.

He walked around the desks, setting down his bag at the seat behind Guest. Sebastian had been told to sit behind them when he first strolled along yesterday, and it was beyond them why the teacher would want this seemingly mischievous student all the way in the back.

Sebastian tapped his fingers on the desk, looking out the window. Guest exhaled, turning back to scrolling on their phone before class started, but that plan was quickly thrown off it’s tracks.

“Hey. Got a pencil I can borrow?”

Sebastian leaned forwards over his desk, leading Guest to turn around and be met with a smirking face, his eyebrows raising with emphasis as they stared at eachother.

“Hellooo? Anyone in there?”*
